IA supports a general policy of openness about personal data collection and use. We have adopted and implemented this Privacy Policy as part of our commitment to protecting your personal information from misuse.

This Privacy Policy applies to our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this site: theimaginasian.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy also applies to IA services contained on other sites, so long as such services contain IA's branding, and IA has provided a link to this Privacy Policy in connection with such services.

What information does IA collect on its Website?
IA collects both personal information and aggregated information on its Website. We discuss our collection and use of different kinds of information below.

Personal Information
You do not have to provide personal information to use our Website. However, particular services provided through the Website may require that you furnish personal information. We use IP addresses to calculate Website usage levels. Whenever you are on the Internet, a number (an IP address) is automatically assigned to your computer. This number is identified and logged automatically whenever you visit our Website. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet, and is done automatically by many Websites.

Demographic information, as well as usage data calculated from logging IP addresses, is shared with advertisers and third parties only on an aggregated basis. (See the Aggregated Information Section below.)

Whenever we request your personal information on our Website, to the extent that we intend to use it in a manner not disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we will try to explain to you how we intend to use it, and to provide you with a choice to decline certain uses. In addition, if we plan to post any of your personal information on our Website, we will also notify you of this possibility either when you provide information to us or prior to posting the information. Please note that by entering any contest or quiz, you consent to our announcing your name and hometown as part of any list of winners.

We may also disclose personal information if we believe that we are required to do so (i) by law, (ii) to comply with legal process or governmental requests, (iii) to enforce our Terms of Service, or (iv) to protect the rights, property, or safety of IA, its users or the public.

Our Policy on Disclosing Your Information to Parties Other than IA

We only share or disclose your personal information with companies other than IA when it is required by law, it is necessary to operate the website or our website services, to protect the safety of our visitors, employees or property, and/or when disclosure is consistent with IA's practices for services that are similarly provided offline. We may also share or rent online subscription information with other entities for various purposes such as marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-Out

IA is a subsidiary of ImaginAsian Entertainment, Incorporated. ("IAEI") We may in the future share personal information with IAEI, our affiliates or other entities for other purposes.

If we decide to enter into other sharing arrangements, we will disclose in this Privacy Policy the name of the entity(s) that we will share information with, what type of personal information will be shared, how the information will be used, and whether you will be able to opt-in or opt-out of the sharing of your personal information. We currently conduct joint activities with other members of the ImaginAsian Entertainment Inc. family; however, we will not share individual visitors' personal information with these entities unless we provide notice in this Privacy Policy.

When visitors send an e-mail to us, we will protect your e-mail address and other personal contact information. However, we may disclose the content of your e-mail to other persons. Please see our Terms Of Service. We may share your personal information with our operational providers or those persons, companies or agents who provide support for the internal operations of the website, such as contest fulfillment services, maintenance and technical services, and e-commerce and auction contractors. If you are purchasing goods, merchandise or services on this website and use a credit card to complete the transaction, our operational providers may share your personal information and credit card number with a ticket agent, a credit card processing and/or a shipping/fulfillment company in order to complete your order.

We may provide aggregate information about our visitors to our advertisers, sponsors, promotional partners, parents and affiliates, such as how many persons visited a particular page or activity, the average age of our visitors on the site or page, or the likes and dislikes of our visitors, but this information does not include personal information about any individual visitor. Aggregated Information

We collect information through our Website relating to traffic levels on our Website - for example, the total number of users visiting particular pages. Use of Cookies by IA

Public Forums

We may make discussion areas, message boards, and/or clubs available to our users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

To register for the public forums, you will need to select a screen name and provide your email address. A password is required to log into the public forums. Depending on the site, you will either select your own password at the time of registration or will receive an email notification from us with a randomly generated initial password.

Whenever you contribute to a public forum, your screen name, linking to your profile, will automatically appear with your post. When you log into the discussion forums, you will be able to set up your profile, which you may edit at any time. You have the ability to change your password within the profile. Your password will never be visible to other users as part of your profile. Providing information as part of the profile is entirely optional.

If you have indicated as part of your profile that you would like to accept private messages, other users will be able to communicate with you by sending you "private messages," without actual knowledge of your email address.

On all other public forums on our Website, information that you provide as part of your user profile, except your password and email address, will be accessible to other users of the site by clicking on your screen name associated with any of your postings. However, you may also opt to display your email address with your posts.

Service Providers

We work with third parties who provide services including but not limited to website hosting, order processing and fulfillment, credit card clearance, e-commerce affiliation, data analysis, emailing and other services of an administrative nature. Personal information, including financial information, is shared with such third parties for the purpose of providing such services.
