The Indo-American Arts Council and The ImaginAsian are proud to present MASTERS OF INDIAN CINEMA, APRIL 8 - 14 The Indo-American Arts Council, in association with The ImaginAsian, presents a film festival with a difference - MASTERS OF INDIAN CINEMA. This festival celebrates alternate Indian films, featuring India's foremost Directors: Satyajit Ray, Aparna Sen, Shyam Benegal, Mani Ratnam, Budhdev Das Gupta, and Mrinal Sen. Curated by Suri Gopalan of Vista India Films, MASTERS OF INDIAN CINEMA is intended to showcase films that are neither Bollywood nor of the Diaspora - Alternate Indian films. This is the first time a film festival has ever celebrated these films in North America!
